International Power Players Descend on The Beverly Hilton for 3-Day Milken Global Conference

Today an international roster of power players descended upon Beverly Hills.

The Beverly Hilton will host the three-day Milken Institute Global Conference with the likes of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Rwandan President Paul Kagame attending.

 

Blair and Kagame will discuss foreign direct investment, with topics to include quality governance, regulatory challenges, transparency and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

On Wednesday, Blair will join Kagame and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates in a panel titled “Investing in African Prosperity,” and be interviewed by Milken Institute chairman Michael Milken.

Other attendees include Magic Johnson, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Rupert Murdoch, Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, and Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo.
