Last year, the LA Philharmonic teamed up with Rodarte and Frank Gehry on a production of Don Giovanni and this year’s collaboration is just as haute.

Couturier Azzedine Alaïa will create the costumes for The Marriage of Figaro with a set designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel.

Style.com reports that Alaïa will create looks for both the male and female cast members, saying that this “the first time in our memory that he’s tried his hand at menswear.”

The signature costumes will “a hint of metallic and bead detailing to catch the spotlight.”

The opera will run on May 17th, 19th, 23rd and 25th only, and tickets are already sold out.
