Haute 100 LA Update: Phil Anschutz Takes AEG Off the Market; Tim Leiweke Leaves
Anschutz Entertainment Group dropped a few bombshells yesterday, the first being that billionaire owner Phil Anschutz has decided not to sell his company, AEG.
He ended the sale for what has become the world’s second-biggest concert promoting group, which also owns interests in the LA Lakers, Kings and Galaxy because of “too much noise in the system.”
The second, far less dramatic bombshell, is that Anschutz swore his commitment to luring an NFL team back to LA.
