Nike Opens New Studio Concept in Lincoln Park

News | February 27, 2013

Nike

A couple weeks ago, Nike opened it’s first ever Nike Training Club in Lincoln Park (833 West Armitage to be exact) in a building that previously housed the United Colors of Benetton. This ladies-only (men are allowed in of course, there’s just no menswear) boutique is a concept the company hopes catches on. The two-story storefront is dedicated to women’s fitness. The first floor is the retail space that focuses on women’s clothing and workout gear, while the second floor is a workout space.

The boutique is designed to be a woman’s resource for all things training and fitness. The first floor is cool and all, but it’s the same products you see at other Nike stores, including the flagship on North Michigan Avenue. The second floor is the real star. The workout studio will host several fitness classes for women every day of the week, including yoga and pilates of course. Nike Training Club will be from 10 am to 7 pm every day and you can sign up to reserve your spot in one of their classes here.
