The bar has been reborn as Riviera 31 and virtually apes Stone Rose’s look and feel.
The new space hosted an opening party last week attended by the likes of Kristin Chenoweth, Kathy Griffin and Ashley Tisdale.
Just in time for awards season, the Sofitel’s eatery, SimonLA, has changed names.
The establishment owned by chef Kerry Simon is now being called Esterel and has a menu of mostly light dishes. The 500-calorie menu should be a home run for the eatery as it will cater to the notoriously weight-conscious Angeleno.
