Dwight Howard has been fined the whopping amount of $35,000 for committing flagrant foul against Denver’s Kenneth Faried.
The NBA decided on the amount after the incident occurred last week during the Lakers/Nuggets game.
Howard received the flagrant foul 2 when he jammed his hand in Faried’s face on the court.
Although he considers the fine to be “excessive”, he was happy that a suspension didn’t occur.
“It’s a lot for a flagrant foul. I was happy I didn’t get suspended,” Howard said. “I’m disappointed to be kicked out of the game.”He added: “I can’t allow it to affect me in a negative way to where I’m not playing hard. When I allow those petty things to get to me, it affects my teammates and we lose games.”
