Another Smashing Success for Women of Tomorrow

News | March 25, 2010

On March 20, the glamorous and gorgeous Mandarin Oriental played host to the annual Women of Tomorrow gala. This charitable event celebrates the diligence and determination of WOT and their work with more than 2,000 at-risk women in the community.

Women of Tomorrow assured that its spectacular event was just as praiseworthy as its cause by throwing an amazing gala where several premier names were in attendance. Invited guests were thrilled with live performances by Telemundo star and Billboard-nominated actor/singer JenCarlos Canela, as well as Miami’s own Steve Chase Band. Along with such dazzling performances, guests were also treated to an amazing auction that featured more than 100 items from world-renowned brands like Prada, Cartier, Neiman Marcus, and Sony Ericsson.

Nose-tingling aromas filled the room as four-course meals were prepared and catered by the Mandarin Oriental’s executive chef, Didier Pouzier. Specialty cocktails accentuated the delicious meals. Photographers were on hand to capture the extravagance of the event and the VIP guests from the Magic City. Seen at the site were tennis great Serena Williams, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, founder of WOT, Jennifer Valoppi, artist Romero Britto, Katrina and Don Peebles, and a myriad of other South Florida socialites.
