Jimmy Choo Hosts its Cruise 2013 collection Launch and ‘Choo 24:7 Stylemaker’ Event

On 28 November, Jimmy Choo hosted an open air event to celebrate the launch of the Cruise 2013 Collection and to introduce the ‘Choo 24:7
Stylemaker’ concept. The event took place at the Cabana pool terrace at The Address Dubai Marina which was transformed with sparkling lights, white flowers and white leather couches, offset by colorful turquoise and tangerine color cocktails, in tribute to some of the signature colors of the season. All the while, DJ Lins entertained guests throughout the evening with his lively tunes.

In order to introduce ‘Choo 24:7 Stylemakers’, guests were encouraged to take part in a fun photo booth activity whereby they modelled their favourite shoes and bags from the Choo 24:7 Cruise collection. The interactive www.choo247.com site was launched in May 2012 and celebrates street style photographic reportage with an image gallery featuring fans wearing Jimmy Choo items across the world and at all times of the day. Additionally, the site invites fans and photographers to participate by submitting their own street style images showcasing their personal style.

Jimmy Choo Cruise 2013 Collection explores modernist lines with clean and bold silhouettes inspired by ‘60s fashion designers such as Rudi Gernreich, Paco Rabanne and André Courrèges. The colour palette boasts a metallic mix of luminous silver combined with glossy gold, punctuated with bold pops of colour in turquoise, citrine, jade and tangerine. A fun, classy and glamorous collection to wear year-round, Jimmy Choo Cruise is all about extravagance and pizzazz.
