Haute Event: Kelly Wearstler Hosts Winter Wonderland Event for Steven Spielberg’s Charity at her LA Home
A rainy Thursday evening doesn’t stop from coming out to raise money for the Children’s Action Network.
Kelly Wearstler hosted the event at the Beverly Hills residence she shares with husband Brad Korzen, of the Kor Group.
She said of why she decided to open her home for Steven Spielberg’s charity of choice: “This is my first time hosting the amazing charity and I am honored to help out with anything for children. The cause is so dear to me and it keeps growing. I would love to do this again next year.”
Getting into the holiday spirit,d artists, designers and celebrities including Trina Turk and Martin Lawrance Bullard donated a wreath of their own to be auctioned off.
Lulu Powers Catering provided bite-sized pork tacos, lobster salads, beef sliders and grilled cheese, while Dassai and Bespoke provided their high-end sake and wine.
Among the famous faces spotted at the event were Marissa Tomei, Teri Hatcher and Virginia Madsen.
