On May 31, Gary Nader Fine Art in Miami’s Wynwood District feted the closing of Wilfredo Lam, One Man Show at Gary Nader Fine Art. More than 200 art dealers and aficionados joined in the celebration, sipping on fine Italian and French vino, as well as Champagne, while appreciating the 60-plus paintings by the prolific Latin master.

For this special occasion, Nader, the leading worldwide Lam dealer, traveled to Paris, New York, Madrid, Maastricht, Rome, Milan, Mexico City, Bogota, and Washington to purchase pieces for the ambitious exhibit. This included one of the most important collections of Lam paintings in the world, a tremendously significant compilation of 20 masterpieces that had been in negotiation for more than 3 years. Additionally, Gary Nader Editions has published an extensive full color book to accompany the show. The party also saw the successful close of exhibitions for Guillermo Munoz-Vera’s Eight Days in Havana and Frank Stella’s Five Decades of Painting and Sculpture.
