The Wallis Annenberg Center For the Performing Arts’ Goldsmith Theater Completes Construction

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts completed a major construction this week.

The last steel beam, adorned with the United States flag and a pine tree to symbolize growth, was placed in its Goldsmith Theater, effectively completing the project.

The beam places inside the contemporary, 500-seat theater was signed by Annenberg’s Board of Directors, Founding Donors and the MATT Construction team.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts was designed by acclaimed architect Zoltan Pali of SPF:architects and is scheduled to open next fall.

It will transform one Beverly Hills city block into a vibrant new cultural destination with two distinct, elegant buildings: includng the theater as well as the 1933 Italianate-style Beverly Hills Post Office.
