The Beautiful and Bold Joanna Krupa of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami
Between flights and her busy schedule from New York to Los Angeles to Miami, Joanna Krupa took the time to share what matters most and what she looks forward to this year and beyond. She makes no apologies for fighting for furs, and her passion is so great that she could turn the biggest fur lover into a fur saver. She will not tolerate jealousy and meanness and shame on anyone who would try to portray her different from the kind warm person she is.
The gal whose tagline from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami is, “I’m a model but not always a model citizen” certainly may seem like a model citizen and a woman to admire because anyone who respects and honors their Mom and cares for animals as Joanna does, deserves a real “Bravo.”
Where were you born?
Warsaw, Poland.
What inspires you?
Good possible people that used their success in helping others
Why did you decide to do Bravo’s show Real Housewives of Miami?
I wanted to show people that no matter your status or your career I have the same issues as any other person and just because I am in the entertainment business doesn’t mean I am any different. I am just a normal girl that is living her American dream but a fighter because nothing in my life came easy. I had many struggles in my career and in my personal life and also a big passion for animals and I wanted to showcase it.
Has this changed you in any way?
Not at all but it did make me realize that I need to cut down on drinking with crazy people around me because if one gets me going but trying to disrespect me my family my friend or fiancé than I will fight back verbally. But what I have learned from doing this show is how vicious some women can be when they are intimidated.
What is the most important thing in the world to you?
My family because nothing is stronger than a family bond.
Who is your favorite fashion designer?
Stella McCartney when it comes to handbags but when it comes to clothes I don’t have one favorite. I buy what looks good not who makes it and how expensive it is. I am not superficial in that way.
What is your favorite food?
Sushi
If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, then who would it be?
Bridgette Bardot because I want to be just like her when it comes to animals. She is a legend and such an inspiration for her fight for animals.
What is your favorite color?
I love many colors and can’t think of just one.
Who inspires you?
My mother because when we emigrated from Poland to America when I was five she had $200 in her pocket but always kept a positive attitude and a will to fight and that has made me the thick skinned person that I am today.
Why and how does this person inspire you?
I’ve seen how much she struggled with my sister and I before my dad came to America after a year and half. She worked in factories just to make sure we had something to eat and never felt like we had any less than other kids and she inspires me because no matter how hard the times were she never gave up and had a smile on her face.
Do you think that humanity is living in a peaceful time?
Sometimes I am disgusted with all the harm human beings are capable of doing to others and to animals. People today seem they would sell their soul to the devil just to advance in life for money. It’s a very sad and cruel world we live in and I sometimes feel that I wasn’t made for this world because I have a huge heart and I just can’t understand how human beings can treat others the way they do. To me it’s beyond comprehension what goes on in the world today but I guess
What is your one year goal?
To continue building my brand.
What is your five year goal?
To be married and have kids
What is the most important message you want me to communicate to my audience?
Live every day to the fullest and don’t ever let anyone bring you down! I am a living example nothing can take me down!
What is the greatest accomplishment in your life?
Every stepping stone in my career has been an accomplishment. Every project I have done I am proud of and I use it as a platform and try to be a smart business woman.
Where is your favorite place to be in the world?
Los Angeles.
What is this year’s goal with your personal relationships?
To continue to love Romain and start planning the wedding.
What is the most important message you want me to communicate to Haute Living readers?
Always smile and make the most of every situation. Life is too short. If life gives you lemons, then make lemonade.
