Bill Clinton Caps Fundraising Benefit With Dinner at the Churchill

News | October 11, 2012

It pays to be one of Bill Clinton’s pals.

After attending a benefit for his non-profit organization, The Clinton Foundation Millennium Network, on Monday night, the former President treated some famous friends to an expensive meal at The Churchill.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen were among the crowd of 20 who accompanied Clinton to the West 3rd. St. spot.

He clearly worked up an appetite while hosting the event at Paramount Studios, which was attended by hundreds of young philanthropists, as well as Quincy Jones, Darren Criss and LL Cool; Robin Thicke performed.

Among the dishes served by owner Beau Laughlin were: Roasted Black Mission Figs, Shisito Peppers, Roasted Pepper & Walnut Dip, the Quinoa Veggie Burger, Roasted Tomato Wood Fired Pizzas and Okinawan Sweet Potato Gnocchi.

Clinton himself sipped on water while sitting outside on the open-air patio by the fireplace. The meal lasted for nearly two hours and the former Prez reportedly picked up the expensive tab. What a guy!
