Haute 100 LA Update: Brett Ratner to Produce Remake of ‘The Flamingo Kid’
The 1984 film The Flamingo Kid is about to get a reboot from Walt Disney, and none other than Brett Ratner will produce.
Ratner’s Rat Entertainment will co-produce with Michael Phillips’ Lighthouse Productions; RE’s John Cheng is the acting executive producer.
Nzingha Stewart, a music video director for the likes of Jay-Z and 50 Cent, is slated to write the script.
