ICSC Names Bal Harbour Shops World’s Most Productive Shopping Destination

News | August 30, 2012

For those of us born and bred in Miami, it’s no secret that Bal Harbour Shops is the premiere destination for all things luxury; the shopping center is home to designer boutiques like Hermes, Alexander McQueen and Lanvin. And in recent news, the Shops was named the World’s Most Productive shopping center by the International Council of Shopping Centers. The mall surpases the industry average of $451-per-square-foot in sales with $2,555-per-square-foot.

Here’s what COO Matthew Whitman Lazenby had to say about the news:

“We continue to be the number one shopping destination for luxury goods not only in the country, but also worldwide. The setting, the stores, the history and the attachment that shoppers feel to the center is what makes Bal Harbour Shops the world’s premier luxury retail center.”
