Haute 100 LA Update: Steve Tisch Brings Solar Power to MetLife Stadium

MetLife Stadium will become more eco-friendly this year thanks to a new solar powered installation.

Steve Tisch announced that the New Jersey stadium will now become the most technologically advanced in America thanks to 1,350 photovoltaic panels lining the outside of its walls.

The chairman and executive vice president of the New York Giants said in a release: “MetLife Stadium is no stranger to unique, trendsetting innovation. The largest football stadium in the NFL – the only to house two teams – also proudly displays the most technologically advanced infrastructure and now dedicated to the identification and exploration of new, cutting-edge eco-friendly ventures.”
