Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: Mara Hoffman

New York-based Mara Hoffman headed south for the forth year in a row and wowed the crowds at Miami Swim. For this show she stuck to what she does best—unique prints, fantasy-inspired swimwear, and dresses—resulting in so much more than just swim.

The collection is themed “Desert Outlaw Gypsies” and colors were a major focus with sky blues, corals, and magentas mixed with braiding, lattice detailing, seed beading, and multiple straps for a highly ornate look.

Even more than the praise she gets for her coveted bikinis, guests to the show loved her ever-expanding selection of cover-ups and day-to-night must-haves, which included a pleated draped chiffon dress, hooded poncho, and button-down tunics.

Moving into accessories, Hoffman was able to show off new beach bags in the collection, including a printed vinyl tote in the Pow Wow print, an embroidered scarf bag with Nomad print, an amazing Fringe bag that is the ultimate beach, pool, or dessert outlaw gypsy accessory.
