Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: Poko Pano

News | July 22, 2012

Designer Paola Robba of Poko Pano has been showing her swimwear at Miami Fashion Week since 2002. This time around she kept things just as sexy but added a bit more color, resulting in an extremely vibrant and eye-catching collection.

There were 40 pieces marched down the runway, including bikinis, maillots, caftans and pants, which were inspired by the rhythm of Salvador, the capital city of Bahia, Brazil. The collection’s prints are influenced by the Bonfim ribbon – also known as the Brazilian wish bracelet, the historic buildings in Pelourinho, Salvador, and the lush flowers and tropical hibiscus and coconut trees of the region.
