Topshop May Open LA Pop-Up Shop Before Debuting at The Grove
Women around Los Angeles broke into happy dances when they heard that Toshop was finally making its way to LA earlier this year.
Sir Philip Green’s haute UK store has committed to opening its first Los Angeles location at The Grove, but may first make its debut in the form of a pop-up shop (ostensibly in case London waters don’t translate overseas to SoCal).
Topshop creative directors Kate Phelan and Gordon Richardson dropped hints about this new venture to Apparel News during a press event at the Soho House last week.
They also revealed that the Grove store would have a Topman section, and swore that they didn’t intend “to shake things up [in LA]. We’re not egotistical.”
