Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Announce Divorce

It’s officially over for our Haute 100 couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

People reported this morning that the A-list power couple are getting a divorce after five years of marriage.

Says Holmes’ lawyer, Jonathan Wolfe: “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”

The two tied the knot in an Italian castle in November of 2006. They have one child together, six-year-old daughter Suri.

This is Holmes’ first marriage and divorce and Cruise’s third: he was previously married to actresses Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman.
