Haute Event: The 8th Annual Irie Weekend

Irie Weekend is upon us yet again, featuring a three-day weekend extravaganza to be held on June 28-30 hosted by none other than Miami’s own DJ Irie. Proceeds will, of course, benefit the Irie Foundation: an organization that aims to improve the graduation rate of South Florida’s youth by presenting them with educational and extracurricular opportunities.

An exclusive Chambord Vodka kick-off party will be held Thursday night at a private residence on Star Island, while Friday’s events will include a Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Melreese Country Club followed by a cocktail party at The Perry’s rooftop lounge. Following the cocktail, A-list artist Jamie Foxx will play host for the remainder of the evening at Mansion nightclub. On Saturday evening, after Verizon’s Celebrity Bowling Tournament at Lucky Strike, Irie Weekend will close out at Arkadia Lounge.

The 8^th annual event involves a number of sponsors, including LAR Consulting, Verizon, Heineken, Red Bull and Bidabuilder.com, to name a few. Celebrities expected to be in attendance are the Miami HEAT, Reggie Bush, Chris Kirkpatrick, Wesley Jonathon and Sidney Rice.
