Aston Martin and John Lobb Join Together for Winner Sport Driving Shoes
There’s nothing like a new sleek pair of driving shoes and not just any driving shoes, but those that are comfortably lightweight, stylish in an array of colors: Winter Wheat, Saddle Tan, Graphite Grey, Frost White, Storm Black, Aurora Blue, Bitter Chocolate, Westminster Green, all with Sporty White or Red rubber soles, along with red and white laces to make the shoe complete.
Well, if that sounds good to you, you’ll be pleased to hear that Aston Martin and Andres Hernandez, Creative Director from British Shoe Company have joined forces to create the lightest driver’s shoes called Winner Sport. Hernandez had the opportunity to work closely with Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Director of Design to develop such a stylish, yet comfortable series of driver’s shoes.
Their concept for the shoes were to reflect the design of the automotive, so each shoe has been lined with sheepskin, made of full-grain calfskin, soft padding by the ankle, fine holes punched along side of the shoe and metallic eyelets, making the Winner Sport look sublime.
