Haute Agent: Margaret Young

Two time winner of the Best of Bermuda Gold award, and Rego Sotheby’s International Realty’s top sales agent for the last four years. She has helped many international buyers through the process of finding the right lawyer to advise on residence and tax issues which is not exactly straightforward. When they become resident she enjoys introducing them to different aspects of Bermuda living and to other residents who have similar interests. Margaret is a native of Northern Ireland. She left there in the sixties on a five year working holiday around the world but didn’t get any further than Bermuda. She has been in the real estate business in Bermuda since 1979 and has made many friends over the years both in Bermuda and internationally. She is a former long distance runner having competed in many marathon races and has broken the magic 3 hour barrier. She also represented Bermuda in the World Cup Marathon in Hiroshima, Japan. She now is an avid golfer desperately trying to lower her handicap but managed twice to shoot a magic “hole in one”. Margaret enjoys travelling to far off places as well as visiting her family in N. Ireland and her daughter in Los Angeles.
