Spink Auction Experiences Enormous Success Due To Rare $23,580 Remy Martin Bottle

News | March 15, 2012

Spink has experienced phenomenal success in its inaugural fine wine auction, which can easily be attributed to a bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask cognac that costs $25,580.

It’s a first-timer in the Hong Kong market, and this rare bottle is one of 786 bottles drawn from a special cask comprising 1,200 eaux de vie from Grand Champagne. It was launched in 2009 and identified by Cellar Master Pierrette Tricket in 2004.

Other stars at the auction included two bottles of Louis XIII from the 1970s, a bottle of Hennessy Paradis from the ’70s, and a Tattinger collection that encompasses nine vintages from 1978 to 1992.
