Hats off to Swanepoel and Stetson
Some of our favorite luxury retailers will soon be carrying pieces designed to make your head the prettiest of them all.
Milliner Albertus Swanepoel and U.S. hat manufacturing company, Stetson, have teamed up to produce a 10-style collection to be available at high-end retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The first collection for Stetson will be classic styles, taking inspiration from Sherlock Holmes and Bauhaus, with detailing such as colored lining that remains true to Swanepoel’s own quirky aesthetic. The pieces will roll out season by season with prices ranging from $180-$300. Swanepoel, who receives frequent accolades from fashion editors and industry press, is known for producing distinct and witty hats and headpieces for many of New York’s premier designers such as Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Jason Wu, and Proenza Schouler.
