Newport Club Set to Take Over New England
With this month’s introduction of our magazine’s newest feature-Trophy Yachts-we at Haute Living are now delivering news on maritime mansions to our readers who are passionate about the luxury yacht experience.
Which is why we bring you this post from Luxist, which informs us that The Newport Club will be New England’s largest marina.
The details: Located in Rhode Island, The Newport Club will feature 44.5 acres of waterfront property on Aquidneck Island, in addition to another 100 acres out into the cove. With 1,500 marina slips, as well as incredible amenities such as retail shopping, restaurants, opulent residences, and support facilities, The Newport Club will bring a whole new luxury experience to the yachting experience.
Slips will be up to 500 feet (to accommodate megayachts), while residences will measure in at between $395,000 and $2 million apiece.
For those who won’t have time to claim part-time residency at The Newport Club, there’s good news, as well: There are also plans for a luxury hotel.
