Haute Event: Fergie Checks Out Her Wax Look-Alike at Madame Tussauds

Fergie wax figure reveal at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas.

Stacy Ann Ferguson (Fergie) of The Black Eyed Peas fame visited Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for her wax figure reveal on Thursday.

Known for her thriving solo career, acting credits, fashion ventures and success with The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie is the latest wax figure to be added to the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas collection. The figure features a futuristic bodysuit that Fergie wore during the E.N.D. Tour with The Black Eyed Peas boasting a chrome and acrylic corset, metal fins and Swarovski crystals.

Fergie joins the ranks of other immortalized celebrities that call Madame Tussauds Las Vegas home, such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani and Madonna. When she saw her figure for the first time, she was both astounded and honored. “It’s amazing. It’s a dream come true,” Fergie said. “I’ve always wanted a wax figure. It’s such an honor to have this done.”

“Fergie has experienced overwhelming success as a member of The Black Eyed Peas, as a solo artist and as a fashion designer,” said Rosita Chapman, general manager of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. “Her exciting and attention-grabbing persona has made her a household name around the world as well as the perfect addition to the lineup of A-list wax figures at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.”

The figure is located in the attraction’s latest room, Club Tussauds. The 2,000-square-foot nightlife-themed exhibit hosts celebrity VIP’s such as “Eva Longoria,” “Justin Timberlake,” “Bradley Cooper,” “Jennifer Lopez” and now “Fergie.” In this room, guests have the illusion of being 40 floors up at one of the hippest Vegas hot spots.
