Joel McHale, host and star of E! Entertainment TV’s “The Soup”, which parodies celebrities, reality TV, and talk shows, has reportedly purchased a home in the Oaks area of Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood, while also putting his Glendale, California, home on the market.
McHale’s new home, which features 3,451 square feet, was originally listed for $1.929 million. The home was built in 1947, is two stories tall, and includes four bedrooms, four updated baths, a two-story foyer, a large living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, and a completely updated gourmet kitchen. The home, which sits on .32 acres, also features a large family room, an office with a separate entrance, a barbecue area and spa, and a garden.
McHale’s old home, at 1,634 square feet, was about half the size. McHale is listing the home, which he purchased in 2004 for $605,000, at $815,000. The home, built in 1929, includes three bedrooms, one and three-quarters baths, and hardwood floors.
All of which should surely have McHale laughing … all the way to the bank.
