Haute Event: Camila Alves Shows Off Her Muxo Line at Tao Asian Bistro; Michael Rapaport and Phife Dawg Perform at Lavo

Michael Rapaport and Phife Dawg hosted at Lavo last night.

On Wednesday night, Camila Alves dined at Tao Asian Bistro at the Venetian with two female friends. The Brazilian beauty showed off handbags from her line Muxo. They enjoyed crispy rice, wasabi filet and spicy tuna rolls.

At Lavo at the Palazzo, Michael Rapaport and Phife Dawg hosted Old School Wednesdays in celebration of the theatrical release of the Rapaport directed film starring Phife Dawg, “Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest.” Fans were waiting for the duo with old school photos and movie posters as they arrived for dinner at the Italian eatery. After enjoying signature dishes, they made their way to the nightclub where they took photos with fans.

Rapaport took the mic to introduce Phife Dawg, who then treated to crowd to a performance of greatest hits from A Tribe Called Quest. Rapaport even got on the mic to sign along with Phife Dawg and the rest of the crowd. They spent the rest of the night dancing and enjoying the sounds of old school hip hop from DJ Crooked.

When asked by A Tribe Called Quest fans if they could ever expect a new album from the iconic hip hop group Phife Dawg shared that he hoped it would happen someday.

Also spotted at Lavo was Quinton Aaron from “The Blind Side.” The actor and friends danced and enjoyed Old School Wednesdays.
