A.R.T. Pimps Mercedes Ride for the U.A.E.

News | January 8, 2010

We can’t seem to fathom why anyone would take an automotive masterpiece such as the Mercedes G Wagon and “trick it out,” but German tuner A.R.T. seems to think that it’s possible to actually pull this off for the Middle Eastern market.

Also based on A.R.T.’s G55 AMG, the new G Streetline was revealed at the recent Dubai Motor Show, in all white with a pink leather interior. Able to reach a top speed of 260 km/h, this ride received a new six-pipe stainless steel sport exhaust system to increase the car’s power to 601 hp and 800 Nm of torque. New features include a gearbox cooler and intercooler, headers, pulley kit, metal catalysts, and a Vmax unit. The car also included a new front and rear bumper, roof spoiler, aero bonnet, and flared wheel arches.
