Haute Hotel: Terranea Resort Presents Paul Smith

As if the perfect climate, beachfront location and world-class resort status weren’t enough, the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes has started a summer entertainment program to bring in the top musicians in the world to perform for guests.

Every Thursday, the resort hosts “Live at the Lobby Bar.” On July 28, world-renowned jazz pianist Paul T. Smith will be performing from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Come to the Lobby Bar and enjoy the sounds of someone the European Jazz Dictionary called “the greatest pianist from America.”

In his fifty years of experience in the music industry, Smith’s credits include Staff Pianist at NBC studios for over 12 years, Arranger, Pianist, and conductor on Bing Crosby’s last two albums (“Southern Memoirs” and “Bingo Viejo”), Pianist for four years for Sammy Davis Jr., and eleven years as Pianist and Conductor for Ella Fitzgerald. A look at Smith’s full resume will reveal a much longer list of service to Jazz greats.
