Taco Tuesday at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

News | July 19, 2011

Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel.  Through September, patrons can sample different selections of unique tacos at both 180blũ and the hotel’s oceanfront Raya Restaurant.

In July of this year The Ritz-Carlton’s Raya Restaurant was named “Restaurant of the Year” by Riviera Orange County.  Famed Chef Richard Sandoval crafts his Pan-Latin Coastal Cuisine using only the best natural and organic meats, local produce and sustainable seafood.  Chef de Cuisine Greg Howe incorporates Sandoval’s signature Latin flavors into his taco creations.

“Our Taco Tuesday has a little bit of an edge and highlights the Pan-Latin Coastal Cuisine that Raya is known for. We want guests to experience something more interesting and taste provoking than a traditional ground beef and cheese taco,” said Howe.

The result? Flavorful tacos with combinations like duck confit paired with curry apple, Korean dragon sauce and cucumber kimchee or smoked swordfish with mango salsa.

Raya boasts an extensive wine list, stunning views from 162 feet above sea level and a private dining room for up to 14 guests. The venue is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Sunday Brunch.
