Fontainebleau Favorites for the New Year
Just a few days into the new year and Hakkasan has already been hard at work. Less than 24 hours into 2010, the upscale Chinese restaurant in Miami’s famed Fontainebleau hotel earned national attention from The New York Times. January 2 proved a busy day for the resort restaurant as well, as it was the official launch day for Dim Sum Lunch.
Hakkasan’s Dim Sum lunch special will be available on weekends from noon to 3 p.m. and will offer classic Chinese/Cantonese favorites including a variety of dumplings like Chinese Chive, Three Style Mushrooms, Grilled Shanghai, and Shanghai Vegetable as well as more substantial tummy-fillers in the form of meats, poultry, and vegetables, stir fried rice and noodle dishes, and barbecue platters.
Located on the fourth-floor rooftop of the Fontainebleau, Hakkasan touts itself as a restaurant rooted in the culinary traditions of China, yet cooking according to a philosophy that is not chained by convention.
