Dori’s World: Summer In St. Tropez

Summertime, especially early July, is my favorite time of year to vacation in St. Tropez. The restaurants aren’t too crowded and hotspots such as Club 55 have a nice mix of patrons. I also enjoy quiet nights and mellow dinners at home with friends. For the first few days of my trip I will be staying with my friend Rena Sindi, and Coralie Charriol has invited me to her home for the rest of the visit. I love having time to catch up with my friends Goga Ashkenazi, Lisa Tsuneishi, Ulla Parker, Mark Cohen, Maria Buccellati. We either dine at each other’s homes or at Hôtel Le Baron. Tonight David Guetta is playing a concert at the Byblos but it’s not until this weekend that the big parties start. On Friday night Goga Ashkenazi will be hosting her soirée, and Saturday night Christian Voigt is throwing his own bash.
