MARA Society’s Inaugural Summer Soiree

Come out and indulge in an evening rich with culture. Spend your night enjoying delicious food and wonderful music—all for a good cause.

On July 14, join MARA for cocktails, hors d’oevres and delightful music in a charity event to celebrate and support Romania and its culture. The esteemed Essex House will host the MARA Society’s inaugural Summer Soiree, featuring a performance by renowned pianist Matei Varga and singer Ana Maria Ferentz.

The beneficiary of next Thursday’s event will be the Alex Fund, a charity that gives to programs that support children lacking the financial means to attend school in Romania.

MARA is an organization deeply rooted in society and the arts. Its name is an acronym for the first names of its founders, four Romanian friends who wish to support the culture and welfare of their homeland. They aim to raise awareness of the Romanian arts in New York and raise funds to support various charitable organizations in Romania.
