The Sultan of Brunei‘s Hotel Bel-Air is seemingly amidst an ugly lawsuit over the construction of a new $2.7 million luxury spa. The hotel has been closed since September for a complete facelift. There is only one teensy problem. The subcontractors hired by the Citadel Construction Company said they weren’t getting paid and proceeded to walk off the job, and as a result, the hotel is now suing Citadel for $600,000, also claiming that one of Citadel’s shareholders used their money for personal benefit.
