Last week Victoria’s Secret released its 2011 “What is Sexy?” list to celebrate the hottest A-listers in Hollywood, and Scottsdale’s very own Emma Stone topped the list as the “Sexiest Actress.”
The announcement was just the beginning of a some killer parties to kick off The 2011 Summer Bombshell Tour, which has the VS supermodels visiting six cities across the U.S. in May and June. The list included such additional categories as “Sexiest Curves” (Sofia Vergara of “Modern Family”), “Sexiest Summer Style” (Beyonce Knowles) and “Sexiest Legs” (Julianne Hough of “Dancing With the Stars” fame), “Sexiest Eyes” (Mila Kunis of “The Black Swan”), among others.
Actress Emma Stone (“Superbad,” “Zombieland,” “Easy A”) was born in Scottsdale and even received some of her earliest training in acting at the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, where she appeared in more than a dozen productions, as well as performed with the Theatre’s improv troupe.
And if any local Haute Living Phoenix readers attended Sequoya Elementary School, Cocopah Middle School or Xavier College Preparatory, guess what — you and Stone have something in common.
Although, Stone never graduated from Xavier; after just one semester at the high school, she famously gave a PowerPoint presentation to her parents to convince them to let her drop out and move to California to pursue a career in acting. Of course, her parents let her make the big move, and we’d say the results have turned out pretty well!
Many are looking forward to seeing Stone appear in the much-anticipated “The Amazing Spider-Man,” scheduled to be released in 3-D in summer 2012.
