Dori’s World: L.A. for Jason Pomeranc’s 40th Birthday Bash
This weekend, I headed to L.A. with Alex von Furstenberg for Jason Pomeranc’s 40th birthday party that Alex and Ali Kay threw at Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg’s house. I started the day off with breakfast with Barry Gesser at the Beverly Hills Hotel counter before getting a hair blow out by Chris McMillan. I then met up with a few friends at La Scala for lunch.
Barry got a makeup artist for me, Ali Kay, Jen Raines, Lucy Arriaga, Karen Larrain, Sabrina Muller, and Charlotte Freund at his house to help us get ready for Jason’s “Rebel or Icon” themed party. I went as Twiggy and many people dressed up as James Bond and Bond girls. Andre Hepburn, Nicky Hilton, Paris Hilton, Doug Ellin, Scot Lerner, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Connolly, Gary Gilbert, and Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman were all there. The house was turned into a disco and the lawn a lounge where an amazing taco and pizza truck drove up. Such an amazing night! Last night we stayed in and ate Chinese.
