Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba to Host 14th Annual Revlon EIF Run/Walk For Women
Tie up your laces and get to Times Square this Saturday, April 30, at 7 a.m. for The 14th Annual Revlon EIF 5K Walk/Run. The race, which this year will be hosted by Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba, will start with or without you in hopes of collecting dire funds for cancer research.
Millions of lives are affected yearly by breast and ovarian cancers. The partnered efforts of Lilly Tartikoff, and Revlon’s own chairman Ronald O. Perelman, have distributed more than $60 Million in grants since it first launched in 1994. Proceeds from past EIF Revlon Run/Walks have funded forward-thinking research, contributing to the advancement of the revolutionary gene treatment Herceptin®, as well as other targeted therapies and bringing new treatment approaches to women’s cancers worldwide.
Money raised have also helped numerous organizations in providing education, advocacy and outreach services to those affected by women’s cancers.
The two Jessicas will be joined by comedian and late-night host Jimmy Fallon, Nate Berkus, host of “The Nate Berkus Show,” and America’s doctor, Dr. Oz. Matt Bomer, star of USA Network’s “White Collar,” will be behind the wheel of the Toyota pace car and Keyshia Cole, four-time Grammy nominee, will be grace the participants with a special performance. Also, the stars of TLC’s D.C. Cupcakes, Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne will have some delicious carb-charging cupcakes ready to re-energize you!
The official race starts at 9 a.m. in Times Square and ends in Central Park. More than 20,000 are expected to partake in this life-saving event; be one of them and show your support.
