Haute Event: Mille Miglia Los Angeles

Are you a car connoisseur or just an aficionado?  Well then, Los Angeles is where you should have been on March 30.  20th Century Fox hosted the 2nd Millie Miglia International Road Show, on their lot in Century City.  This event blended a cross between Italy’s’ thousand mile race, Millie Miglia’s appassionati combined with a classic car collection.

Actor Patrick Dempsey gave the opening remarks for the show.  Every car enthusiasts dream was fulfilled that day when they entered the lot to twenty exquisite cars lining the lot and view videos from races of the past.

Some special guests at the event included the President and Secretary General of the Organizing Committee Jim Alessandro Casali and Sandro Binelli, Gianopulos, C.E.O. of Fox; Hunter Nikell, the president of Fox’s Speed Channel; and Paolo Rubini, Director General of Enit, Italy’s National Tourism Agency.

The Italian Millie Miglia is one of the most well known and anticipated open car races in the world, around 1927-1957 this races focused on the drivers and adventures; to date the race focuses on the same challenges with classic cars from the 1927-1957 time period. A car show with sponsors like Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Audi, Bentley and Porche to name a few, can’t go wrong!
