Haute Event: Miami Unveils New Ducati Diavel
Recently Haute Living was invited to the unveiling of the new Ducati Diavel at Grand Central in Downtown Miami. This is a new segment of Ducati for an entirely new motorcycle with all the latest technology and performance you would expect from this world wide brand but in a new cruiser category. Built to have a commanding presence, though lightweight and agile like all Ducatis, it boasts 162 horsepower and 456 LBS of pure performance. This specially engineered 240 section rear is a result of a partnership between Pirelli and Ducati to develop a new tire and new chassis technology to be able to deliver mind blowing handling and lean angles to defy gravity. The merging of the worlds of power and style has never been achieved with such precision.
Arrick Maurice, Advertising & Brand Manager for Ducati North America tells us the Miami unveiling was one of the more exclusive unveilings they have had thus far. They only prepared the event in four days and only VIPs and previous clients were invited, but it was the largest turnout they have gotten so far. “This is a very exciting time for our brand and at a time where our competition is cutting back, we are coming out with new lines, technologies and even fashion in this economy. We are focusing more on the lifestyle that comes with Ducati and Miami has shown us to be one of the most enthusiastic unveilings in the country,” he told us.
On March 25, the long awaited national dealer premiere of the new Diavel will take place with a special VIP event in the Design District. Contact your local dealer for details on this upcoming Haute event you won’t want to miss.
