Will Lee Schrager Bring A New Food & Wine Fest?

Congratulations are in order for Lee Brian Schrager, a big name for the South Beach and New York Wine & Food Festivals. Turns out his day job has recently given him a promotion, from Director of Media Relations and Special Events of Southern Wine & Spirits of America to Vice President, of Corporate Communications and National Events. Mr. V.P. has a lot of work ahead of him but no doubt he will be treading through it in no time.

Word on the street is that Schrager and SWS are planning another festival launch in a major food city within the next 18 months. It is possible that with his jetsetting and globe scouting one of the recent places he has been spotted could be the next venue for the project.

So what city will it be? Chicago or LA? Time will tell.
