“Eat When You Can, Sleep When You Can” at Carbon 12 Gallery Dubai

Currently on view at Carbon 12 Gallery in Dubai is “Eat When You Can, Sleep When You Can” the first international solo show for Philip Mueller. His works are full of vibrant colorful expression incorporating subjects from pop culture icons to Icelandic Shamans and the Adams family. The result is an authentically construed personal mythology of symbolic meanings.

Mueller’s works bear resemblance to theatrical and performative anecdotes; such a playful and carefree approach to the medium create new scenarios, dialogues and histories. The artist held a special performance on the night of the opening in conjunction with such energetic and imaginative works.
