Haute Event: More from the Hard Rock Hotel on New Year’s Eve

Skybar_Hard Rock Hotel Vegas_Miss NV_Dennis Quaid — Miss Nevada 2011 Sarah Chapman led the countdown to midnight at Skybar, while Dennis Quaid was spotted kissing his wife at midnight.

The Hard Rock Hotel attracted the celebrities, who picked the casino as their destination to ring in 2011. Rihanna stayed at Hard Rock on New Year’s Eve.

Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly and friends ate at Nobu before joining guests at Skybar to watch the fireworks on the Strip. Miss Nevada 2011 Sarah Chapman and the band Ashley Red led the countdown to midnight. Quaid and his wife were spotted kissing when the clock struck midnight.

“Twilight” actress Julia Jones was seen checking into Hard Rock HRH Tower suite.

Also seen eating in Nobu before midnight was Chad Kroeger, lead singer of Nickelback.

Pete Wentz ate in Johnny Smalls on New Year’s Eve sans wife Ashlee Simpson.

Ludacris and Jason Giambi were spotted at Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel, with Ludacris leading the countdown to midnight.
