Lipton Farris is the Prize of Palm Beach

News | November 20, 2009

December 9th, Palm Beach plans to tip its hat off to socialite extraordinaire, Dame Celia Lipton Farris, at the annual Historical Society of Palm Beach County fundraiser.  The cause is suiting; for someone prominent as she is on the charity scene, what a perfect venue to receive recognition.  This past Saturday, the official kick off party for the fundraiser was hosted by Patrick Park, the Cleveland lumber scion, at Jupiter’s Bears Club and was attended by over 200 guests.

She’s certainly is quite the Renaissance man—or woman in this case, as Lipton Farris has made a substantial mark on the arts; whether it was her stint on Broadway, her gigs in the London theater, or her dabbling in movies, television, singing, and painting.
