High Tea at The Peninsula Beverly Hills

Bring your white gloves and pocket watches, to enjoy an afternoon of high tea.  If you’ve ever been intrigued by the fancy allure of tea time, then you are in luck, the Peninsula Beverly Hills offers a delightful teatime experience at The Living Room.

Angelenos can relax with a calming mid-to-late afternoon tradition. In The Living Room guests are welcomed into a sort of Victorian style salon, complete with a harpist to serenade the afternoon. Or you can opt to sit outdoors in the patio for some of that fresh California air, which also gives a good opportunity to talk a little louder.

This isn’t a grab-and-go experience, like the coffee shops that have become so popular with those always on the go.  The Peninsula offers a comforting yet very sophisticated atmosphere for say an afternoon with the ladies, or even some good old fashion mother daughter bonding time- this tea party is high class all the way.

The Royal Tea menu includes classics like scones, cucumber sandwiches, salmon sandwiches, clotted cream with an addition of Mumm Cuvee Napa and fresh strawberries.

Guests can choose from two seating times offered per day, at 2:30pm and 5:30pm, and a noon seating Friday- Sunday. Reservations are strongly encouraged, since it appears that this might be the only local offering high tea time.
