Miami is getting twice the racing when the UIM E1 World Championship presented by PIF returns this November.

The all-electric raceboat series will stage the first double-header in its history on Nov. 13 and 14, with back-to-back races set to decide the E1 2026 Champions of the Water. After stops across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, the season will finish on the waters of a city with a long relationship to powerboat racing.

Miami has hosted international racing on Biscayne Bay since the 1950s, making it a natural setting for the championship. E1 brings a distinctly modern version of that tradition, with electric E1 RaceBirds competing on tight courses and teams backed by some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.

This year, the pressure is especially high. Two races mean more points are available than during a standard race weekend, giving teams one final opportunity to shift the championship before the season closes.

The Title Fight Comes Down to Miami

Team Brady arrives with the advantage after winning the inaugural E1 Luanda GP 2026 in September. Tom Brady’s team left Angola with a 40-point lead over Will Smith’s Westbrook Racing by Visit Angola and is chasing a third consecutive E1 championship.

Westbrook remains its closest challenger after victories earlier in the season at Lake Como and Dubrovnik. Steve Aoki’s Aoki Racing Team also remains in the championship conversation after a season that has included a win in Jeddah and a pole position in Angola.

That puts three celebrity-owned teams into the spotlight as E1 prepares for its final weekend, but the double-header leaves more room than usual for the standings to move. Mechanical issues, penalties, or one strong qualifying session can change the complexion of a weekend quickly, and Miami gives teams two chances to get it right.

E1 CEO Jamie Copas has described the finale as one of the championship’s closest title fights yet, with the added intensity of the series’ first back-to-back races.

Miami Gets the Full E1 Treatment

For guests who prefer to watch the racing with a little more comfort, E1 is bringing back the Ocean Club, its waterfront hospitality experience. Limited two-day VIP passes are being offered through Fever, the championship’s official ticketing partner.

The E1 Ocean Club places guests close to the course with food, drinks, and views of the E1 RaceBirds as they move through the waterfront circuit. Previous E1 hospitality weekends have also incorporated entertainment and access to areas where guests can get closer to the teams and boats.

This year, E1 is also collaborating with Miami-based pop artist Romero Britto, whose colorful designs featuring a manatee, turtle, and dolphin will appear throughout the VIP hospitality area. Ocean Club ticket holders will receive exclusive items from the limited-edition E1 x Britto capsule collection.

That mix of sport and social experience fits Miami particularly well. The city hosted E1’s first U.S. race in 2025, and the championship is returning one year later with a larger assignment to crown the 2026 winner over two consecutive days.

The E1 Miami GP 2026 double-header takes place Nov. 13 and 14, with Team Brady, Westbrook Racing by Visit Angola, and Aoki Racing Team heading into the finale among the key names to watch.
