Luggage as Art: BÉIS Just Dropped Its Most Creative Collab Yet
BÉIS x KidSuper collection is a nine-piece travel capsule featuring Colm Dillane's paintings on BÉIS' first-ever Trunk and more.
Colm Dillane has spent years traveling with cardboard boxes instead of luggage, hauling KidSuper collections from one project to the next in whatever could hold them. That unglamorous reality became the creative starting point for one of the year’s most unexpected travel collaborations: BÉIS x KidSuper, a nine-piece capsule that dropped on September 9th and officially reframes what luggage can look like.

The collection debuted in June at the KidSuper Spring/Summer 2027 show in Miami — carried down the runway by BÉIS founder Shay Mitchell — and introduces two custom KidSuper prints across new and existing BÉIS silhouettes. The first, Graffiti Cargo, translates the worn, hand-marked look of a beat-up shipping box into something you would actually want at your side in an airport. The second, Finale, pulls directly from Dillane’s vibrant paintings. Both prints land on pieces that already have a following: the Hybrid Check-In Roller and Carry-On Roller, which feature BÉIS’ patent-pending Coupling System that links multiple rollers into one rolling unit, along with a Carryall Duffle, Pro Travel Backpack, Pro Travel Crossbody, Luggage Covers, and a Luggage Tag.

The headline piece is the Trunk Check-In Roller, BÉIS’ first-ever Trunk silhouette and a long-requested addition to the line. It arrives with a spacious 70/30 opening, detachable kickstand straps, braking wheels, and a considered organizational interior — the kind of functional detail that BÉIS has built its reputation on, now wrapped in art that has no interest in blending in.

“I want my bag to be the brightest or most unique thing at the airport so I can immediately spot it,” says Dillane. “You’re taking these things all over the world with you, so they should have some personality. I love the idea of making a piece of art that then literally travels around the world with someone.” It is a point of view that makes the collaboration feel genuinely motivated rather than aesthetic-for-a-esthetics ‘ sake — luggage as a moving canvas, carried through every city and every terminal.
