There’s only one Sir Rod Stewart — and on Saturday night in Las Vegas, he reminded us exactly why. After bringing the house down with his sold-out “Encore Show” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer (and Wolfie’s Whisky co-founder) kept the party going just down the hall at Caspian’s Cocktails & Caviar, the Strip’s sleek new rock lounge.
To the crowd’s delight, the British rock legend jumped on stage with the all-star house band Radio Xx and tore through a surprise mini set — “Maggie May,” “Ooh La La,” and “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You” — turning the intimate lounge into a full-on rock show. With Ben Carey (Lifehouse, Savage Garden), Bryce Soderberg (Lifehouse), Toby Rand (Rockstar: Supernova), and powerhouse drummer Al Seratto behind him, Stewart delivered the kind of magic only he can.

Flanked by his glamorous backup singers, Stewart toasted two years of Wolfie’s success and the extension of his iconic Vegas residency — before being surprised himself with a cake shaped like a bottle of his award-winning whisky. Then, in true rock ’n’ roll style, he hopped behind the bar with Wolfie’s partner Duncan Frew to pour shots of the signature spirit for lucky fans.
All night long, Caspian’s guests sipped on cocktails inspired by Stewart’s greatest hits — from the playful, citrus-kissed “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” to the bold, bittersweet “Forever Young.” Add in Wolfie’s & Tonics, elegant Old Fashioneds, and bottle service fit for rock royalty, and a night Vegas won’t forget was had.
