Fendi Stages a Joyful, Color-Soaked Vision for Spring/Summer 2026

Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway burst with color, craft, and ease, unveiling bold silhouettes, shimmering fabrics, and playful accessories.

Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway was a kaleidoscope of optimism, staged against Marc Newson’s pixelated set that bathed the show in shifting fields of color. The effect was immediate: this was a collection built on vibrancy, but tempered with the kind of craft that keeps Fendi grounded in reality.

The new Fendi Collier—a drawstring pouch strung with beads like jewelry—swung alongside fresh takes on the Peekaboo, Hobo, and Way, each rendered in textures that ranged from sequins to basket weaves. Shoes had the same playful touch: slingbacks finished with metallic heels, sandals dangling with charms, and loafers in delicate latticework. They were the kind of details that made the collection sing.

The clothes themselves carried a lightness, even when shapes turned sculptural. Balloon hems and fishtail skirts brushed the floor, while airy organza shirting and silk knits shimmered under the lights. Bright shades—bubblegum, vermillion, coral—collided with earthy neutrals, a palette that buzzed with energy but never tipped into chaos.

What stood out was the dialogue between menswear and womenswear. Corsetry, buttonhole tabs, and floral appliqué slipped easily across both, blurring traditional codes. A cropped bomber with frilled cuffs paired over tailored trousers captured the tension best: precise but playful, sharp yet soft.

Backed by a soundtrack that spliced Italian cinema with electronic beats, the show left no doubt. Fendi’s summer is sensual, witty, and unapologetically alive with color.
